Dates: April 5 - May 7th
Saturdays, 12:30 - 2:00 pm
Location: Stanford University (main campus)

During this 5 week program we will explore the powerful biological forces that control human behavior, thought, and emotions. Our Anatomy & Physiology Learning Academies guide students through the wonders of the human body, system by system, and help them develop an informed understanding of its normal functioning as well as various illnesses and diseases that impair it.
Topics are chosen to help students master key concepts and principles of anatomy and physiology and to stimulate further interest in the biological sciences and scientific research as well as health-related fields such as medicine and nursing. Classroom activities include hands-on labs, small-group projects, and interactive discussions and will involve cutting-edge technology, 3D models and displays, and real anatomical specimens.
Students will also visit multiple biomedical labs on campus to see how scientists are using cutting-edge technology to uncover the mysteries of these body systems and develop new treatments for related diseases.

The knowledge that was imparted during this bootcamp was the most useful. It helps us understand ourselves and what fields we are interested in. Also giving possibilities of careers was very valuable, because it will help us in the future.

This camp is great because you can get one to one assistance/help. You learn each of the topics in a lot of depth which gets really interesting. We do fun poster activities which helps us strengthen our understanding. I would also say that over all the fun academic stuff, you also get to be taught by a great teacher. His teaching ways helped get all the doubts out of my mind, and it helped spark an interest for neuroscience within me.
